Damn that's awesome, never seen that graphic before and 24-frets and the scalloped horn is pretty unique too!
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

Jackson needs to bring "That" graphic back. Nice guitar. That is a body I always wished they had kept in the line. Dinky's are cool. And I have owned a few. But that Strat with deeper cutaway to accommodate for the 24 frets and scarf cut on the back of the body are just calling out to me.
Thanks for showing us this magnificent find. You just gave me the working idea for my next Mutt build.

maybe there was confusion with a 22/24 fret neck and thats why they had the wrong work order #. the body almost looks like 6842 changed to 6892

That was never a production graphic. If you email Matt at Matt's Music with a set of specs and tell them you want the "Storm Scene by Dan Lawrence", it shouldn't be a problem.

What makes you think Dan Lawrence did it? There's no evidence of that.

                      1) It's the right time period.
                      2) It looks like a Dan Lawrence.
                      3) The house and grass are similar to a dark, night-time haunted house version of the graphic that Dan Lawrence did.

Here's a different version of yours:

I can't find the graphic I'm talking about. If I remember correctly, the house was in between the two humbuckers, the pathway was lit by glowing lanterns, there was like a half-sunk boat in a swampy area or broken carriage in the road (two different versions)... and the windows and house were sorta illuminated more yellowish red and the overall graphic was much darker...

Here's another one... my memory might just be bad, because this is a lot closer to what I remember, from Jim Shine's archive... I'm fairly certain this is a scan from the Dan Lawrence book:

I swear there's one more that's more halloween haunted house oriented like I'm describing, but that Dan Lawrence scan is close. Maybe someone here that has one will see the thread and post pics...

And yeah, I know I'm a fucking asshole, but I'm fairly competent about Jackson shit. xP

Cool Xeno, thanks for posting those. I recall from that DRL thread that Dan created some original designs, but later on Jackson had other guys copying them (often with poorer results). These all look pretty sweet to me, maybe Dan did all three!
