  • Is this legit?

The logo looks skewed and the "made in USA" is under the logo and not to the side.

    But the heel is branded.
    ....this one goes to eleven.

    Deff in the wrong place.
Woodburn neck so a replacement neck with an SD logo?
Has the R and not a TM I'm not sure what is up with that.
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.

replacement logo, most woodburn necks I've had didn't have a logo.

The logo should look like this.

so the presence of the branded jackson logo means it is a legit jackson made product?

I belive I fixed that neck about 4 years ago its not damaged just had major chipping so I refinished it properly and thats the logo I had. If looked at closely I did that so it would be spotted by US as a refin.

Woodburn logo means replacement, but the build stamp likely means it left the factory attached to a body. It might have been a warranty replacement, or they just might have been short on necks and decided to use some that were piled up.

I know that's a refin and relogo now, but if you order a CS you can have the logo oriented non-standard, fwiw.

Yep, 100% legit. the stamp is odd, none of mine had the jackson stamp W/ work order # and order details, just the wood burned logo. maybe it was used as a warranty factory replacement neck.

THANK GOD!!!! I had put in an offer BEFORE I had realized the logo was skewed and was instantly remorseful. Im sure it would have played fine but those kind of flaws annoy me. Glad to see I was outbid. Thanks all for the info about branding.

Maybe because it's burnt into the heel of the neck?
