Help with Pricing on a used DK-1?

I wanted to ask if $925 shipped is a good deal for a used black DK1 in excellent shape with stock EMG's?
No case just the guitar shipped? also i will be selling the EMG's out if it for about $100, i use duncans which i already have a set for it so after that, this DK will cost me a total of $825, so should i grab this?

WOW i would have much rather had that one. I cant believe i missed that! what a deal that was
the basic black is ok but not my first choice. lost my whole interest in the one i am talking about here now!
looking at some of those ended auctions i think the price i got was average at best, nothing really great about it.
After seeing thet Lightning sky one go for $800 i am going to hang on to the $925,wait and save up for a used SL-1 or 2. i always wanted a soloist anyway cause the whole neck thru thing just gets me everytime, there is something about the SL's that say "classy" all the way!
shit i played one of those newer MII SLX's and even that was a badass axe for the $$$,
so the USA ones are godlike.

I am the lucky guy who bought the DK1 this week! Killer deal considering the body finish which is for me one of the greatest Jackson finishes! I always wanted a pre-fender Jackson and it seems that i was very lucky! Good luck with the search.

I paid $999 for my burnt cherry burst. And you probably don't want to know what I paid for my black DK1.

The thing about the DK1 is the older ones are HSS with 22 frets (I think this was the case of the lightning sky). The newer ones are HH with 24 frets. I think there was a period where they were HSS with 24 frets as well. I don't care for HSS or HH either way because I rarely use the neck pickups. But I really want 24 frets. If this matters to you it's something to watch for. The other thing is the DK1 has an unfinished oiled neck which is a completely different feel than an SL1/SL2. I own two DK1's (and an RR2) because I really prefer the feel of the unfinished neck, feels more smooth to me. Another thing to think about.

So true.. Especially the last phrase it really hurts..I wish Jackson had never been sold to fender..I'm mad with the guys leading the marketing sector.. Seems like they don't care about the brand.. Jackson is HUGE!! Wake up!!
