What's up fellow jacksoneers. Just wanted to share some pics of my RR1. Bought it in early 97. Great forum here. Can't believe I didn't find it earlier.

Yeah, you'll get laughed out of hear for mentioning pre Fender. If anything, things got better post Fender.

I have a 1992 RR1, a 1995 RR1, 2005 SL2H, 2004 SL1. Quality is great on all of them. Don't see any difference pre- or post- Fender.

Would love to get a 1980's USA but that won't be any time soon.

Yeah, looks like that one is suffereing from some pre-Fender headstock clear delamination.

Reminds me of my old metallic black RR1.

Ok got it no more saying pre fender haha. Wasn't trying to be cool or anything just have heard that term a lot. Yeah the tip of the headstock has playing a lot of metal shows syndrome. Cymbal got knocked into it it, didn't seem like much but left a little scrape that peeled a little. Unfortunately there's another on the tip of the end of the V from getting up too quick from a chair. Flying V syndrome at its best. Haha. I'm sure you guys have similar stories
