yeah its hard to tell if it was a mod, either way its pro done and a very long time ago as you can see the age on the joints and flux? the tabbed route is the same as my SD era jacksons. the build stamp on the neck says "grover sig", and dated. the body doesnt have the stamp but its initialed and dated in the pocket, there is other writing in pencil but its too faded.

That guitar came with an an Original Floyd not a Schaller, it must have been swapped after I traded it. I bought the guitar from a music store in New Mexico a few years back.

Both of mine are soloists and 87's so probably why I thought the cut outs looked odd.
