soloist sl1 with thin neck

hi guys,
bought recently an cherry burst sl1 made in mid 2000's, i think in 2006. it appeared to be with a thin neck profile. it's very strange cause i had an sl1 made in 2001 with a much beefier neck. so i took a ruler and measured 19mm thickness at 1st fret and 20.5 mm at 12 fret. this thickness is similar to a"speed neck", wich never came in a soloist, as far as i know. this is not a custom shop, it's very strange, maybe they produced different neck profiles that year?

All the necks are hand shaped, so there is some variation from guitar to guitar, sometimes quite dramatic as you've noticed.
