i saw slash solo a while back. was kinda lame, you could tell he was sober and bored and just wanted to be done with the show. i had a much better time seeing axl do his thing. years ago i was lucky to see them all together at the ritz in nyc when they filmed part of the you could be mine vid. great guitarist regardless....

I believe it's a Strat. Looked like one when I saw them play last weekend. He also was playing what looked like a new silverburst 1H rear routed Rhoads with the bolt inlays.
