Let me know how it plays Ian. Glad it came together well.

I just saw Exodus with Anthrax and High On Fire on the metal alliance tour a couple of weeks ago here in Vancouver, but I don't know the band well enough to know who the guitar players were. They put on a pretty decent show though.

Thanks for the comments guys - it feels like it's a 'team work' guitar with all the folks that were involved with it LOL I got the bridge from Jackson, which was really cool of them - it's not quite the same as the original RR bridges, but it's way closer than the Gotoh was, and sounds a ton better too.

I got the guitar from someone who said he'd worked with Rick at a studio (can't remember the full story) but I asked and he had no way of contacting him. He said he got the guitar in the condition I received it, so at some point between the 97 filming and 2011, someone had really gone to town on it!

Me too! Well, I watched Exodus and Anthrax, which was all I was interested in LOL Rick's not with the band any more, but as Joe said, he's filled in for Gary Holt on occasion when Gary's been filling in for Jeff Hanneman.

I wish I knew you were there, I would have bought you a beer!

I was digging Scott's silverburst Rhoads.

I didn't know High On Fire was on the bill when I got my tickets, but I dig their stuff. Matt Pike is getting humongous though! His belly would give El Duce from the Mentors a run for his money hehe.

Does Jackson still manufacture these bridges or was it a NOS piece? If they still do manufacture these then it begs the question why they don't use them on their production RR1Ts!
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

I dug out this thread after watching some old Exodus, thinking that there had to be some info on Rick's RR.

I vaguely remember reading this. If you have the time/energy it would be great to see those pics!
