  • Ngd: Sl2h!

So I found this beauty at my local shop, at a reasonable price so GAS struck me and I now own a f*cking SL2H! I am so stoked.
I'm not a fan of EMG PUs at all, and I plan on upgrading these to a set of Bareknuckle PUs
I only have a couple of pics for now as I am to busy playing around with her

The serial is U15**1. Do any of you guys have a guess on the production date?

Most likely a 2005 production date. Let me know more of the serial # or shoot me a pm with it, and I should be able to get you a closer production date based on my unofficial log. Congrats on a sweet soloist!

Killer. For totally selfish reasons I think you need chrome covered pickups.

Congrats! That's a great looking Soloist. What model BKP's do you plan to replace the EMG's with? I'm considering swapping the SD's in my SL2H with BKP's.

Mr. Johnnyryche helped me date this to may, 2005.
Damn this beauty is well kept!

I would recommend the Rio Grande Big Bottom Set. Bridge: Muy Grande and Neck: Tallboy. I have this Set in my Robin Medley Custom and its awesome! Handmade in Houston Texas.

Rio Grande Big Bottom Humbucker set. BBHSB. Black color. 4-conductor. Bridge and Neck pickup set. The set provides enhanced vintage tone with the Vintage Tallboy in the neck position. A big, beefy, and powerful Muy Grande is generating tons of tone in the bridge position. Comes in "F" spacing.
