  • New guy with old guitar...

Well, not that old..1987 Jackson Soloist.
I'm Ken, I am also on the Facebook group as well. Figured I would share this case queen beauty here too! The only thing wrong with it that I found upon buying it was a possble mis-drilled pick up ring hole that was not filled before paint for whatever reason and a tiny little fleck of paint missing from the very tip of the headstock. Can't believe this does not have signs of use...I know I play it now!!

Very nice! Your locking nut pads are facing sideways instead of up and down, though.

Hahaha...well I'll be damned! Never even noticed that! After looking at my other guitars, it seems as the locks are more square instead of rectangled and could be used either way without fear of not fitting correctly. All fixed now!

Welcome mate, beautiful guitar you have there. It's great to see an orange one, there's just not enough of them.

Yeah, that's pretty sweet! Must be early 87 as it has the SD control rout. Looks like an upgrade from a JT6?

Welcome aboard. Awesome axe, and yes, I think over 25 years old classifies it as old (but old is such as harsh word).
