I am impressed beyond words. They delivered and delivered good.

Not my cup of tea, but glad to hear about the short turnaround time.

Nice axe! I think this whole Custom Select thing is going to lead to some really interesting guitars popping up.
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

That color rocks. Have you never owned something in pavo purple? Looks a lot like it in pics, only with large flake. They do not have pavo on the color list which bummed me out, but this could be a really close alternative.

I loved Pavo Purple! Tried to order a Charvel in it once, but that was right after they discontinued its availability for the reissues. So it was a no go.

This color seems to lean more towards the blue end of the purple spectrum, as compared to Pavo. A tone of sparkle in it, too, obviously.

That was my most diplomatic reply, Gary!

Looks like there's a few people using the Custom Select to go for retro 80's options. HNSD!

The purple love missile is back from a brief trip to Cali. Thanks to Matt's Music & Jackson for the quick fix turnaround.

Do you know what they did to fix? (ie new block or removed wood from the cavity?)

Yes, the latter. Actually, they were nice enough to call me too, so I spoke to them about the fix. Apparently there is a different template used for non-recessed layouts, slightly different with an angle to the back route. So this needed to be corrected.

I may still swap to a bigger block anyway, though. Always been curious to try one out.
