That is the perfect guitar. All of yours actually are perfect. Simple, old school, and done freaking right!! The emg trick is fun.

Nice one, I remember seeing iron eBay last week. What's the deal with the headstock issue, how bad is it?

          TY all.
Headstock issue... just a little raised finish, bubble over the Jackson.
          Not an issue for me.
          for me, it rocks.

Definitely a great-looking guitar. Looks stealthy.
Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.

Black archtop Soloist with reverse headstock? WIN! Is it just me or do the pickups look really close together? Also, an interesting detail; the fretboard appears to extend further into the body than the other guitars in the photos, it looks like the bridge is placed further back too.
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

Man, nothing gets by you guys. Very impressive.
                          Yes, you are correct.
25.5 scale, but shoe horned in the body. Very unique.
This particular archtop must have some history of sorts....

Kinda waiting for straycat to chime in with his log book notes....

None of my logs deal with numbers that new sorry Jay, I wish I had those log scans.
Very very nice piece and yeah I think there maybe something special about its heritage.Should be some fun digging to find out for sure.
I would hit Dan Lawrence up on FB and see what he says he may remember it.
It falls in the Thrash metal era so who knows.
                              Really? well screw Mark Twain.

                                What's the serial?
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get
