I had this happen to me a few years back....not a guitar but a computer scam. All I can say is shrew, I am glad I used a Postal MO. They deal with fraud at a slower pace but GET RESULTS!!!!.

I just don't understand how people can be so shitty to someone they don't even know. You send someone hard earned money and get a box full of bricks back. Shameful. I guess these people don't understand or care how badly they hurt someone by doing that. I am not a weak person by any means but that's so disheartening to hear and way worse to have happen to you. I honestly think I might cry if that happened to me. Not that it would do any good but....That just sucks so bad words can't describe it. Let's all hope that there's a special place in hell for these people.

My dad was a postal inspector and you're right about them moving slow but......When they get you they fuck you HARD!!! Federal time brotha!!!!

I see this all the time sadly. What happens is they go to guitar forums and look for guys posting new guitar day messages with beautiful pics of their brand new guitars and save them to use to rip people off later on.

I just got to the point where if I don't see the guitar in person I can't trust what I'm seeing online unless it's a seller with thousands of positive feedbacks out of a known guitar seller. I can't trust someone with 10 feedbacks with only a few items ever having sold.

Here's hoping you get some kind of recourse.

Some people are assholes. It's always been that way and will always be that way. We've been screwing each other over since we learned to walk on two legs.

If something like this hasn't happened to you then either you don't play the game enough (being something over the 'net) or your number hasn't come up yet.

Please don't misunderstand me - acts like this are despicable and there's no excuse for them but never be surprised by them.

@Matt B. I generally don't buy from the internet unless it's AMS or a very trusted dealer who is in good standing with the company I am buying said product from. When I bought my first Jackson from an online independent dealer I called Jackson first and asked a ton of questions about him. Jackson said he was an authorized dealer of their products and that he was in excellent standing with the company and they had received no customer complaints. So I bought from him with a credit card and he was great to deal with. He shipped the guitar the day he got the payment and he sent it first class from Pembroke Mass. which I am sure wasn't cheap. I got the guitar in about 36 hours. Dave Guinta of Xtreme Lefty Guitars is a great guy to deal with. Also I don't condone screwing anyone over Matt weather it be someone I know or don't. It's also easier to screw someone over that you do know Matt because when someone knows you on a personal basis there is a level of trust. That's a two way street bro. It depends on the person who is doing the screwing is all I am saying.
