A very close friend of mine asked me to post a thread about this guitar. He used to own one a while back but unfortunately he sold it. The guitar itself was a white USA Soloist with EMG pickups and it had a paint job of Curly from the Three Stooges on it. The coolest part about the guitar was that it glowed in the dark! He bought it used here in Pgh. Pa. and we asked the shop owner all about it and he had no info on if the paint job was original or after market. The shop owner told us if Jackson didn't paint that guitar someone with a lot of experience and talent did because the paint job was flawless. He said some guy came in and traded it for a Fender strat straight up and that was all he knew. My question to all my fellow JCF'ers is does anyone have one of these models or ever seen one and if so can you please post some pics. Any info at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I've seen that guitar somewhere...not sure where though...I'll see if I can remember.

At this point everything is helpful. Thanks guys I appreciate the replies. My buddy and I constantly tell people how awesome this guitar was but nobody seems to know anything about it. Every time I bring a Jackson over to his house to jam he just wants to kick his own ass for selling it. Plus he says he only got about $500.00 bucks for it in 1993 which is insane because it was in really great shape.Last edited by leftykingv2; 10-06-2013, 11:41 PM.This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. as an owner of a glow in the dark guitar...
The fact that yours did glow, I would likely assume that the finish was original. Jackson loved to make things glow, and their artists did custom work all of the time. In fact, the catalog used to come with paper guitars that you could design your own finish to hand in to them.Last edited by pianoguyy; 10-07-2013, 02:08 AM.

I didn't own it. My friend did. If it was mine I still would have it. Like I said my buddy is still really sour over selling for such a tiny amount of cash considering he said it was one of the nicest playing and looking guitars he ever owned. I just wanted to see if anyone on the forum had one so I could show him some pics. This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED!
