  • nice guitar

The Dweezil Green pointies came in with some really crappy route work. I bought one from a member here that had the trem route so f'd up the arm socket rubbed on the inside of the trem cavity. I fixed it for him but sent it back as it was no Charvel Grover would have sent out. Then again Ive seen some real doozies back around '85-86 .

Send it back and buy a Gmp.

    • How do you guys rate this guitar?

      • Nice guitar but kind of pricey for what it is.
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Other than the fact it's listed as Sharkies and isnt?

            • No, not the spec. Look at the photos. Look at the pickups, and the end of the fretboard...

Something isn't right, but I'm not sure if it's an optical illusion.
The neck almost looks crooked, but I think it's the side lighting.

                • Seems to be quite a gap on the low side of the pocket & alot of over-hang of the board but can't see what's up with the pups

                      • The high E string is almost off the board.
                        96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

                        • If that's the case, what would you need to do to correct that?

                          • I had a USA JJ bolt on one time that was just like that with the high E string.

With a bolt-on, sometimes loosening the neck and giving it a little yank may realign the strings correctly

...on a neckthru (funny that it's mentioned as that in the add), you're gonna have to shift the bridge,... if that's still possible

                              • It has TV Jones pick ups and a nice neck and body binding but the bridge doesn't look like it matches. Like Force said there's a bad gap on the low side of the neck pocket as well. I also don't see a serial number.
