I'm guessing this is tuned like an original Bass VI? Which from the factory was E to E, down an octave from a normal guitar. Which is real close to the lowest 6 strings on an 8 string tuned down a whole step.

I guess this might be nice for somebody who:

-wants to play bass on a shorter scale.
-wants to tune down REALLY low.
-wants to tune to baritone tuning (or thereabouts) while having a lot of extra tension from the long scale

Cool. I was thinking it would be tuned B to B like on the DK27 they used to make, but since it's even longer, it might be closer to an 8-string.

Being overweight in general is a serious long term health problem, I'm not afraid to talk about it openly and seriously with people I know personally.

If something like perpetuating a long standing joke about Yngwie is childish in your eyes, okay, I'm guilty of being young at heart.

I don't see any potential benefit from a $3k+ price tag with a 30" scale length, and missing a Floyd. Give me a regular SL2H and I'll drop tune it with thicker strings, or use a pitch manipulation tool such as a Morpheus Drop Tune.

I don't see a purpose for a 30" scale length using bass strings... Someone must have been bored and thought this idea up.
