It shouldn't be that hard to find another Fusion body on ebay or the classifieds. That way, paint the new body how you want and leave the old sweet paint job original.

I was thinking about that too. Can I use a Charvel Fusion body also?

I wouldn't see why not. An MIJ Jackson Fusion body just got listed on ebay.

Rare doesn't mean collectible and vice versa.
It is all subjective if you plan on keeping it or flipping it in the future.
If your gonna save it forever then it may be worth more to you to re fin. But it may be worth more to the collectors to keep it all original.
My thoughts are if it's after the San Dimas era, a refin couldn't hurt it's value.
            But that's just me.

                Yeah I wouldn't refinish that. It's a beauty of a finish.

I would not refinish it. I would buy a 2nd body and have it painted how you want. that way you still have the original body & graphic.

Just a solid color. Something basic like a red or black. Just nothing pink or neon.

I can agree with that like 95% of the time. Especially with refinning a graphic, trade it. IMHO If you cant find someone with a solid finish to trade for a warbird, you're doing it wrong

Now the other 5%.... The by far most common Jackson color is Black, I have had at least a dozen. Quite a few got refinned, I don't know of anyone that has seen one and said "you know it would look better plain black"
Don't get me wrong I like black guitars and still have a few but there are soooo many. Tell me you wouldn't pay a little more for soloist, RR or DXMG for example if it had a proper refin, whatever color or graphic it may be versus "budget black" as I call it or the cheapest of Jackson's finishes.

I would just buy a guitar with a graphic if I wanted one or the same model in a different color before I paid more for a used guitar because someone refinished it because they didn't like black. JMO.
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Goddamnit, you can never have enough guitars. Buy another one!

Keep the graphics. Use it for your gigs on army bases, military holidays, and for a Halloween costume.

Refinishing original paint (graphic or solid color) always descreases resale value!!

Personally speaking, that finish would decrease a guitar's value (I couldn't care less if it's original or not). But that's just me......so I'd try to find how your guitar with that graphic is valued compared to other finishes. If it's worth a fair amount more, then sell it and buy a different guitar. If it's worth about the same and you really like the guitar otherwise, then I say go ahead with a refinishing.
