    Fusion USA body wood?

    Came across this USA Fusion on Craigslist a while back. It feels relatively light, maybe slightly lighter than my alder DK2M.
    Is it possibly poplar or more likely to be basswood?

    IIRC, the FUsions were indeed basswood. I could be mistooken, though. I know a lot of the Charvel Model models were basswood, and not that fly-away stuff Ibenhad is known for. These things weigh like LPs.

      Im pretty sure Fusions are basswood, but the USA made ones might be poplar. But I'd bet basswood.

            Hey... I recognize that guitar, I have some pics of her hanging on my wall before I traded it to the Colorado area. Nice grab by the way, I know that Marshall you traded for it made him very happy.
            USA Fusions are very nice players I will say, enjoy

              Pretty sure the USA Fusion was poplar wood. Somebody check the 90-91 catalog...

                I had also heard that they were poplar, but I can't find any confirmation.
