  • JCS - pickup config and control layout changes allowed!!!

$50 for single hum or h/s
    $100 for black neck binding
$50 for single volume (though says single hum - not sure why)
$175 for graphite reinforcement (thought this was std on USA Select now though)

    $0 for blade vs toggle
    $0 for direct mount pickups

From the way I understand it, they have expanded JCS specs further into CS territory so you can use other base models (Demon / Double Rhoads for example, 6k baseprice), or you can get a Kahler for $350 and so on, BUT if it's not on the sheet, it's Masterbuilt which is an instant $1700.

Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable

      Very cool.

I assume different woods are still full CS?

If they offer mahogany I would really be tempted with these new options...

It looks like The KV2T the Roswell Rhoads and the Demon are back as well.
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Regarding the single volume: where is it placed on the body?

              On the headstock...

It'll be the standard position, unless you pay $80 to move it 1/2" back.

I just got off the phone with Jackson. Jackson custom shop will now do ANY body style they have done in the past from all eras. Everything is on the table including a Star shape with a strat style head stock, Double Rhoads, Death Angel/Kelly. The only guitar they absolutely will not build is the Vinnie Vincent V because of the litigation issues. This is awesome in my opinion. I think having more options like the ones Neilli listed are a step in the right direction as well. The head of C.S. sales confirmed that Pablo Santana is indeed no longer with Jackson. Maybe all of this isn't news to anyone else but it is to me.

Are you sure they'll do Roundhorns, Firebirds and Explorers? That'd be huge, but I really doubt it..

Exact quote; "Any body shape we've done in the past as long as it's not a legal issue like the VVV."

Someone did mention last year about the Firebird probably being made again, but haven't heard anything since...

                            Yep! :-)

But I must be missing the option of the single hum on the current Custom Select form... But hey, I'm working nightshifts, I'm kinda blind to details right now.
