I think I saw a few unanswered questions:

    Mahogany body/neck = yes
    Rear routed RR1 = yes
Anything below the "Masterbuilt Options" section requires the $1700 Masterbuilt Fee, plus the cost of the options you want (inlays, Kahler, etc.). The additional body styles (Demon, Double Rhoads, etc.) include the Masterbuilt Fee already, so do not add the $1700 to those models.

I spent a lot of time with some key CS guys last week. If I can answer any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Thanks,

      I didn't notice the rear-loaded option on a Rhoads - that's pretty cool for only $150
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

What about the XTRR or Star bodies?

That would probably qualify under the "other body shapes(specify) ... call"

Semi-related question: who makes the sustainer system for Jackson, and is there any way I can get one without buying a Phil Collin model?

The routing for the controls (pots, switch, etc.) is on the back of the body, instead of the front.

Yes, as a Masterbuilt custom shop order. As a matter of fact, I just placed an order for a custom Soloist with a Sustainiac for a customer today.

I thought the Jackson sustainer for the PC-1 was actually the old Floyd Rose Sustainer from back in the '80s. Isn't Sustainiac a different company?

Yes it is. You can get either one in a MB custom shop guitar. The one I ordered today is from Sustainiac. I just mentioned it as a coincidental anecdote.

Ah, okay. Wasn't sure if it was still the Floyd version or it was changed with something else.

I found out yesterday from a dealer that you can now get a 7 string SL2H through the Custom Select program. So the Masterbuilt options do pertain to the Custom Select program? If so, would the wait time increase considerably or roughly stay the same.

I heard that at NAMM, too. They have a special run of Custom Select 7-strings, but other than that it's not on the menu right now. I wouldn't be surprised if an update comes out with a base price for a 7-string Soloist soon. I have an inquiry in and will confirm here what I learn
