So, I've been really lazy to take good pictures, well not all lazy - busy and not home much when the sun is out.
I ordered these 2 CS's soloist's from The Music Zoo, dealt with the manager Tim Reynolds per the connection Ian made for me.
Tim is fantastic - just fantastic! My experience with TMZ was really good and I promise you I'm very OCD (Engineer) and hard to please. Big thanks to Tim!
Also, I need to thank Ian Neill for connecting me with Tim and overall being a great friend. Marty Friedman's webmaster (Mayzan) needs a "thank you" as well for selling me the only chrome LSR set I could find on the planet and for recommending push/push pots instead of push/pull.
Another big thanks to Mike Shannon for building fantastic guitars and Kurt Walton for helping with the process.
So, on to the guitars (better pics down the road):
These are almost identical. No truss rod cover, no Floyd spring cover, minimal control routes, extremely thin necks, R5 nuts, recessed Floyds, LSR tuners, special input jacks, push/push pup selector, H/S, and both with black binding with MOP side markers, special volume knob location, rev HS, "Pablo" backside cut, G&G cases.
The main differences as you can see is the paint, the boards (one ebony - very dark, one Birdseye maple), barbwire inlays, bio-hazard inlays, and the logo's
Just very nice guitars and to my door in 18 months.
