Who can show me what the 'walnut' finish looks like? I hope it's some kind of vintage brown-ish.

^ Yeah, it's on a flame maple top. Walnut stain seems to vary quite a bit, here's another pic of it:

Are you looking for a walnut stain or what walnut looks like when its cleared?
EDIT - As I reread your replies it would appear that your asking about walnut stains. Its going to vary by the amount of stain (how long it sits/soaks), and the wood its going on. pretty sure those carvins are just clear over Walnut wood, not dyed a walnut. Claro walnut is usually the darker stuff, its pretty and heavy. there were also the walnut SG of the mid/late 70's.Comment
