I confess, was mine. I bought it from the second owner who bought it from the original owner in ChicagoLand. Cool factoid....the neck pup is a Bill Lawrence dated 12 -85 and signed by Bill (RIP) himself. Great playing and sounding Soloist - glad it landed in Delano's collection.

Pretty cool, I recall this one. It looks like the transitions to the sanded neck were cleaned up a bit? I recall them looking quite rough at one point and we were poking some fun at it._________________________________________________

The original owner....for whatever reason....had started to strip the neck, and not only were the transitions wonky but the neck itself was so rough that it was virtually unplayable. The second owner (from Metro Denver) bought it sight unseen via fuzzy pics and was obviously pissed and disappointed - I think he got splinters every time he played it. I picked it up through the local CL and put about 8 hours into the neck - cleaning up the transitions, smoothing the neck (400>800>1500>2000 grits>0000 wool), repolishing the binding, etc. Came out really nice - the natural neck feels incredible on this guitar.Originally posted by Axewielder View Post
