They seem to have been attached with rubber cement. Just wiggle them a little when you pull the covers off. Most just had slugs though.

BTW Axewielder, I'm starting to hate you....you have all the best strats. I soooo wanted that one lol

On my Charvel Model 5 the neck cover was held on with double sided tape. The bridge appeared to be held on with hot melt glue.
