That's really really nice...I'd swap those pups for ones with black bobbins but other than that, Perfect!

I didn't like my KE2 because it was neck heavy. Wondering if the bigger bodies solve that problem (or the 22 fret necks).
It's the mid-size. It actually has 2 lower strap buttons, 1 in the original place(middle) and one closer to the left point which makes it balance better.

They match the white bevels perfectly so I'm cool with them. This is my first experience with Bareknuckles pickups. They seem pretty decent, fairly well balanced. Not as hot as a Super Distortion or Distortion Parallel Axis but definitely hotter than something like a JB.

Not recessed which is so much nicer. Jackson started cutting the "ashtray cutout"(term I stole from Buddy Blaze) in 1989 but did not recess the trem into the cutouts until 1990. That makes 1989's a bit of a weird setup, ashtray cutout but not recessed.

Because those routes are different....originally the route allowed for pulling-up on the trem but the trem was still top-mounted....that route did not surround the trem like the modern recessed trem route does....nowadays the route surrounds the entire trem & the trem sits lower inside the route!!
