David George (Spiderman) had/has Custom Shop RR and KE I believe in chlorine, but can't seem to find the pics on here now.

Pat, what were you using to get pics like this? I've always had a tough time photographing figured tops to capture both the figuring and the coloring.

I had some time yesterday and was trying to take some pictures of my PC1 chlorine but was struggling to get good pics of the both the quilt and the colors. Any suggestions?

Those are from my cell phone, actually - Galaxy S4. It was pretty sunny, though, so I had to dial back the brightness a little.

Yours looks sweet, J. Love the colors. Sometimes shooting a pic straight on flat to the body can show the quilt best. And seems like with trans-tops a lot depends on the lighting. Honestly, though, I don't know shit about taking good pictures.

I'm no expert, but I know that natural light is a massive help, and then taking the pic at a slight angle to avoid reflections has got me some decent results.

Ian, back on your earlier question about the run's differences... I forgot that they have the "custom shop" logo of the headstocks. They also have four-digit custom shop serial numbers.

I found out that only the Vintage Chlorine versions of that run have the Custom Shop logo. Somehow it got missing on the Vintage Solar versions, even though it's mentioned in the work order sheet.

That's interesting. I actually had one of the Solars for a day, it was shipped to me by accident. Gorgeous top on it, I was tempted to pay and keep it. LOL. Anyway, I'm reasonably sure that one had the CS logo on it. It caught my eye then.

Then again, my memory isn't the greatest. LOL. And I thought that guitar was the one you bought, but that would seem to be incorrect.

Yes, I own the guitar that was accidently shipped to you. It has no CS logo.
One or two years later I saw a picture in another guitar forum which showed the other Chlorine and the other Solar. The Chlorine had the CS logo and the Solar was also without logo. I believe these two other guitars belong to the same person, because they showed up in one picture.

OK. Can you post a picture of your guitar? Not that I don't believe you - I just want to see that beauty again. LOL
