Does anyone know how many king v's were made in the 80s from the custom shop? I own one from 1987 but have had a hard time getting much info.

Yeah I'm holding on to mine with a death grip. You just don't see them like you do old Dinkys, Strats, Soloists, etc._________________________________________________

1987 Jackson King V picture Serial #J2954
Finally figured out how to upload a picture, sorry for the delay. I bought this guitar in 1988 off of a guy who was leaving the Bay Area to work on the Alaskan pipeline. It was virtually brand new. The first thing I did was remove the pickup covers, like everyone else. I still have them and they are still in pristine condition. This guitar has served me very well over the last 27 years, still plays great. As I posted, having a difficult time getting any information about production of the King V.HENNESSY

1987 Jackson King V picture Serial #J2954
Here is a pic of my 87 king v.I still have the pick up cover's.They were the first thing I removed. It has been very hard finding any production info on this guitar. I bought this guitar from a guy in the SF bay area who was heading to Alaska to work on the pipe line. It was only a couple of months old.He had it made to his spec's but other than that I have no detail's. If anybody has any info about production number's and the like I'd love to be enlightened.HENNESSY
