Hi guys, I came across this axe, the owner wants a trade for one of my guitars and the only thing I can't figure out is it a Fusion or a Dinky? I know that the spacing between the pickups gives it away but I can't really tell. Any thoughts? Btw the serial # is 001167. Does that make it a 1990? Thanks!

Someone else will tell you if it's a Dinky or Fusion since I'm not sure, but the serial number indicates 1991. http://www.jacksonguitars.com/en-CA/...erial-numbers/96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

I would say it is dinky based on the three mini toggles. Fusions came with that paint scheme . But had a five way blade switch and mini toggle between the volume and tone.Mike

It's weird, in the '91 catalog there isn't even a Dinky. But I can't really believe Jackson didn't make any Dinkys in 1991. Also I noticed the blade switch thing, and I'm kinda edging towards it might be a Dinky but still I'm not sure.Last edited by Bobby8; 07-18-2014, 01:11 AM.Two guitars are better than one.
