Weird Serial Number JJ1 - Any ideas?

No worries. Sorry for the post. Wrong information. Had the guitar checked out by shop and it is perfect.

Could just be human error.
I remember seeing a Soloist with one upside digit in the serial.

1994 with a "W"? You don't want me to tell you what that means. I hope you didn't pay much for it.

Seriously, "W" stands for "water damage". Somewhere around 1994 a Jackson warehouse(Ft. Worth I'm almost positive) got flooded and a lot of guitars got damaged. They put a "W" on the USA's after the serial number. I remember a lightning Soloist from 1994 that had a "W" serial number. It had a twisted neck.
