Generally I prefer Black hardware on most colors and shapes, but sometimes Gold and/or Chrome go better with certain finishes... In this particular case, I like both versions almost equally!
But if it was a TBK Kelly or a Warrior, I'd definitely go with the Black hardware.-Metal wouldn't be the same without Pointy guitars-

Chrome is a great way to dress up a relatively plain finish. A transparent, metallic, or otherwise special finish is better suited to black hardware, which doesn't draw the eye away from the finish. That's my humble opinion, anyway. The OP's trans black with black hardware looks killer.
