I really appreciate the page Mark. It is a great piece to add along side the two I have on it. I think it is so awesome we both share a guitar on it as well
    Thanks again many times over!!!

Worthless in the sense that they are so poorly scanned that you can't read anything. Its really just a collection of pictures of old guitars. That is really all they are good for.

Are we looking at the same thing? The scans of the logs couldn't be clearer.

walshula, what style is J2366 listed as? I can only make out the word 'Custom'.
            96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

I'll answer for Lee on this one.....the magic word is "Kelly" Custom. But it's actually an "XPL" I think - Mr. Walshula can elaborate.

Well, that's two reasons to get your eyes checked, then Thread's about logbooks, not catalogs, and the catalog scans on Henrik's site as well as the one on Jackson's site are plenty clear.

Some members have catalogs of various years- if you need a clearer shot of something, just ask. Log books, not so easy.

                      Ok, Kelly.
I should've been able to figure that out.

I always think it's cool to be able to see these documents.
Power chords...what more do you need?!

I know that this is about the factory logs. I was using those shitty scans of the catalogs as an example.

Yeah, it is a Custom Kelly. The hangtag says XPL Kelly which is an one off of the 85/86 XPL Explorer by Gibson. I bought it off the original owner who actually took a XPL explorer off the Guitar Center wall and traced it and submitted the drawing to Jackson in 1985. I have the hang-tag, GC receipt and the Floyd Rose receipt from where he bought it at GC and sent it in with the tracing. Having this log sheet adds to the provenance of the guitar. I printed out the page twice and will put one in the XPL case and one in the 1hum soloist that is J2365. I scored that off fellow member Hunter1970.

Thanks again so much Mark for the page, I am still in awe in over having it
