  • Here is something you dont see everyday!

Here is my Jackson San Dimas bolt on that was built in Feb. 1986 S/N 1117
I bought this brand new from Friendly River Music in Portland, ME. It started
off as a single hum but I modified it to be a little more versatile. This is a
killer guitar and i will never part with it. I never saw another SD Jackson with
a S/N close to mine. I definitely have an early Jackson!

    Nice!
I'd personally have left it stock with the single hum single volume, but to each his own!

Awesome! I'm the resident Jackson Strat expert. You sir have a nice one. I'm not a fan of the mods either but it's sweet otherwise. Is that a switch added to the lower horn?? If this were in my hands I'd save it by adding another angled neck pup and go H-S-S. That would look kinda Jake-ish (and not so wrong-ish).

Thanks Guys. I just love the number 4 position on a strat and was looking for that tone. So, I had the Alnico II single added. The bridge is a SD Custom Custom. And yes, that is a 3 way switch on the horn. Also, a no load tone and a crisper on the volume pot. This guitar does it all!

I think he's referring to a treble bleed cap.

yup, so when you turn down the volume the treble is still there. Yes, factory Floyd!

i find i use the middle pick up on my strat for (what i would call) that strat sound so i see the point. Also i love a toggle on the lower horn its the best place for it.
                  no sig.....

Very nice. You don't see many H/S without a neck pickup, but some people do that.
Here's a Custom Shop someone here owns.

nice one Shredder! I angled the SC to get a little more picking room. I love how the middle pickup acts as a nice pinky rest for playing clean near the neck too. Killer Custom Shop guitar!
