80s vs 90s logo...differences?

Hey everyone,

New to the forums and was hoping to get some help. I am putting a custom shop select order together and trying to find the differences between 80s and 90s Jackson logo. I have compared guitars from both decades and I can't see any glaring differences. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

In terms of the JCS order form, isn't the 80's style 100% in a solid colour with the shading lines, and the 90's has no shading lines and is MoP?

Also, size can be specified on custom select orders. So a 100% logo will be the same, whether 80s or 90s style. And both are decals, not MOP. There are also available MOP and Abalone styles, both started use in the 90s on USA Select guitars. And there are outline logos, too, which is just what it sounds like. The letters are just outlined, you can otherwise see through to the paint underneath.

Thanks! The green flake rules, too. I can provide another example of the black 90's logo (cheesy 80's content advisory):

OK I guess I'm confusing things. So you can order the 80's style in 100% or 80% size then? I think this guitar is actually an 89. Soooo it's an 80% 80's then.
