This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that I have a figured top bengal. Here she is.

Korina body, quilt maple top with birdseye maple neck, ebony fretboard.
Mirror pickgaurd
Duncan Hot Rails, Quarter pounder and IM1 Custom Shop Pickup.
Chrome inlays.
Volume, Tone, Tone, 5 way selector and coil tap switch.

I ordered this just after NAMM last year. I wanted it to be a strat that was clearly a Jackson. They got everything right on this one right out of the gate. No issues what so ever. Pictures do not do it justice at all. We may try pictures again in the morning to see if the light is any different.

How did you get a strathead?

I have had a great relationship with Fuller's Guitar for 10 years (the bengal on the left in the bottom pic was delivered in Dec 05 through Fuller's) and asked them some time after NAMM. If I recall there was a CS strathead at NAMM that went to a dealer somewhere. I went into it saying I wanted a CS Jackson strathead that looks like a Jackson. After a bit they came back and asked for my design. There may have been some concern that they didn't want it to look like a Fender or the Adrian Smith model. That's speculation on my part and the conversations and emails were early last year. I don't know what conversations may or may not have taken place between Jackson and Fuller's. They have always been straight up with me when I ask them, I just didn't need to ask them. Jeremy at Fuller's is great to work with.

Dude...I'm blown-away...that is just awesome on so many levels. Congratulations on that one, that is one beautifully sick axe. I really need to get over to Fuller's and see what they've got in-stock over there as they've got the best selection of Jacksons in Houston.
