OK first off +1 to Matt's Music for seeing this one through. The lead time on these was ridiculous, but it is finally here. It's an ash body with JB/59 Duncans. JB's can be hit or miss in some guitars, but it really works nicely here. The middle position is very useful as well. The specs are fairly close to that MZ run a few years ago. It does have the wood screw tuner posts, for better or worse. No 3 o'clock tuners, but we didn't ask for them. It has a Jackson plate instead of a Charvel plate. No major surprises with anything. The plate is an Ontario plate, which I thought was odd. The ash isn't terribly light, it's an average weight. The red sparkle is killer! The 80's logo is well done, although it has a slightly thicker appearance than the original ones and of course has the "CS" addition. These come with a form-fitted flight case.
