    Strat Head Dinky

    I always liked the look of the PC1 except for the thick neck, gold hardware, sustainer....well, a few things

    Thus, I was excited when I found out that Jackson was allowing Strat heads on custom orders. It's pretty straight forward. I went for a birds eye board to help set it apart from the PC1 and the direct mount pickups are D'Activators. Here's a quick pic from Matt's Music. Can't wait to get it in my hands!

      Were it not backwards I would strongly suggest an alarm system, a Rottweiler and a shotgun to keep me from breaking down your door and bailing out a window with that. Well done.

        Yeah, that's very nice! I'm still not sure what the official line is about stratheads - I've heard different things at different times. But it'll be 'full' Custom Shop now with the MB charge, rather than Custom Select right?

            Thanks, guys! It was definitely considered a full custom, but when I ordered it a few years ago the price wasn't too bad. No noticeable increase due to the strat head.

              So, if you didn't go with the PC1 neck profile, which one does it have instead? And still a mahogany body?

                  Yours and mine must have showed up at Matt's around the same time. Mine arrived yesterday and is currently in route to Ohio

                        Went with the Dinky neck profile. You are right on the mahogany body. That's one thing I did like about the PC1
