Nice score, very unique guitar. The inlays remind me of Kirk Hammett's inlays on his guitars. I agree on the truss rod covers, I would forgo that option on a custom build. Stupid question, what is an Ibanez style side jack look like?

Thanks! It is a mix of a few different guitarists now that you mention the inlays; Demartini = Snakeskin, Lynch = Pickups/Controls, Hammett = Inlays. As to the jack, basically...recessed.

Yup, absolutely. I had no idea Custom Select was taking that long now - thought it was still eta 4 months, reality 6.

I have soloist that I ordered in June that is slated for a November delivery and the King V was ordered in August and is in the queue for sometime late next year. Maybe I just doing weird options on my custom selects causing this.

When you order they'll tell you 3-5 months but we know how that is just a estimate.

I would think so. The Custom Selects are just tiny changes to the regular USA Select line, so they're supposed to be done, from what I recall, anywhere from about 5 months to a year or so, depending how busy they are.

Seller was "selling it for a friend" who apparently lived an hour and a half away and the Seller couldn't get hold of the friend after 4 days to ask him to bring in the guitar. Went on for a week with Seller having to drive out and pick it up from the Owner on Saturday. Seller was good on his word though and communicated with me via a telephone call Wednesday night to apologize and explain and then to pick up the guitar. Photo of item in his shop followed then I got the UPS Tracking Info yesterday and it's on the way. Hopefully no surprises upon arrival and unboxing.

That is awesome I'm not a fan of painted snakeskin but I love this one wow may it live up to all your expectations.
