Picked this one up local on Craigslist. I'm on a lunch break, so it's the only pic I have for now, but this baby is MINT. I also feel like I stole it...I was able to pick it up for $1000. And yes, I know I'm a lucky bastard.





My very Spartan jam rig. A 5w Blackstar Metal and a 2x12 Carvin Legacy cab. Overdrive and a porn music pedal...all I need.

A PRS SE245 is in the gig bag. Another great guitar in its own right.

I thought that when I saw the price, but the seller and I are both active duty here on Bragg and I believe the story of how he got the guitar. He's changing units soon and is downsizing before making the move across the continent.

He has a pretty sweet collection of Custom Jackson's. I hope he stops by the forum.

I hear ya. I scored my all time greatest CL deal from a army guy who got moved here to work at the Pentagon. Had a tiny apartment and no room for gear he couldn't use. At first I was leery about the deal but when I met him and found out he was an army officer it all made sense. I have also scored some great gear deals from Quantico, in that town every thing is pretty much on the up and up. No worries.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. I've been jamming almost non-stop since I took it home yesterday. I had forgotten how great a US Jackson is!

Now I'm GAS'ing hard for a DK-1. It will never end!
