NGD: Jackson SL1H

My first custom select showed up yesterday so I thought I would share pictures of it. I am pretty simple and basic for what I like hence the new guitar is a stripped down Soloist with some nods to the 80's Jacksons I am fond of.















Here is a quick run down.
Color - Orion Silver
Mahogany wings with maple neck
Top mounted floyed
SD Black Winter
single volume moved 1/2" back
brass big block

It's a SD custom shop order to get the cover and it was wound by MJ.

Awesome. I almost went with an 8-string Black Winter when I got my Carvin DC800, but I decided on a Nazgul instead. I'll put a Black Winter in something one day.

Pearl Masters (MRX) 6ply birch with silent stroke heads and Zildjian Low volume cymbals. It's a really quiet kit setup this way. Hoping to get a second bass drum next year and try to learn double bass but I've been told a second bass drum is custom order from Pearl.

Not sure the truss rod cover isn't over kill but it is my first custom order so I wanted to have it.

I really like that. I have a soft spot for single hum guitars, and that one came out pretty killer. The red logo is a nice touch, too.
