NGD Jackson Korina Heaven

As i have said in the early this year, i do think i have too less V in my small guitar collection. And i have regretted a lot selling almost all my mustaine related Vs. So i ordered a Jackson custom select V, but the build time is still killing me. When Rege put this one for sale, i just have to go for it.

Just a very classic KV1T from late 90, early 2000 with korina neck and body in mint condition. This one resonates so well and weights almost nothing (3.1kg). I put the new schaller tuning pegs on it, so the tuners now look like LSR .

A truly thrash machine, i am total happy with this new axe!

I really miss my Korina KV2. It had a floyd rather than hard tail and I have never seen another like it.

Like you, for me it will one day be a select order. I need to buy a house first sadly...

This is my old one. Even the grain on the Korina gave me a woody haha.



Out of interest, what pickups are in yours? This one had a JB/59 and I didn't think it suited it too well. I didn't have it long enough to try anything else though.

I have seen plenty hardtail korina KVs, but not another with a floyd. And that's a deal breaker for me.

I have seen lots of korina kv2, korina kv1 with kahler around. I have only seen 2 korina kv1t so far

That guitar looks amazing!!!!...I have such a bad case of GAS for a Korina KV...I always assumed that I would eventually order one through CS, because I have never come across one that I could actually buy...I dont even care if it has a FR, Khaller or whatever...I just want a Korina KV!!

Yeah, there's not many korina KVs with string thru for sure. But there's plenty with Floyds..

Weird. I have not seen a single KV2 Korina with a floyd for sale in all the years. It's always hardtails.

Grats! While they did make a fair number of them, you just don't see them very often anymore. In EU, I'm sure they're fairly rare. Good score.

Great pickup. I have a soft spot for those korina KV1's. They are awesome! My number 1 V for the last 8-10 years now has been a korina KV1. Enjoy
