  • 85 San Dimas soloist J0475 in the house

Been rode hard but a solid player.
Was used by a local band back in the 80's I'll get more info on that.
I'll take it apart tonight and check it all out.
I can't get in the audiozone to check the log sheet so if anyone wants to go look post a screen shot here please.
I'd like to know what it says.

                My God this guitar sings.
Monster tone and plays like a dream.
Action is low and fast and perfect up and down the neck I didn't have to do any adjustments to the truss rod or the Kahler.
I fixed the wiring issues for now but am still going to put an RS pot upgrade kit in it when I get the chance.
I was on the fence about this one due to the paint chips but so glad I got it.
By far the best playing soloist I have ever had.
                Weighs in at 9.3 lbs.

Wow..NICE!! Don't touch anything if it sounds that good!!

I hear you on the paint chips, I'm the same exact way. But keeping that original as possible, and playing/sounding that cool would prolly be the best thing to do IMO!

Wow seeing that makes ya think if we saw this on a band vid or something. Ya never know who's hands were on this baby!! I instantly thought Jack Butler..but that was a maple neck.

30 years old...man we're all get old. Even our guitars are becoming vintage antiques WTF??!!

That's the version of the Kahler lock nut that I like.

Thanks for posting the page I appreciate it.
Being blank on the log make me wonder who ordered it?
He had this guitar way back when you could call Jackson for info and they told him it was for a well known player but they couldn't say who it was.
Shit like this makes me want to find out more.
                      1. Why can't they say who ordered it?
                      2. Why is there no info on the log page?
                      3. Was there special attention as to who got to do the build?

All the other famous people have their names in it they don't seem to try and hide or otherwise disguise the artist. Paul Stanley is 477.
Probably just a lapse in the log as it happens at the last line. There are plenty of inconsistencies and mistakes.

2 away from Paul Stanley is cool just on its own
