The 12th fret tight dot spacing on USA Charvel/Jackson guitars has always been something that could be used for help with identification. What the hell is this ?

Since you posted this thread I've read your OP a few times... and have been confused.
The 12th dot fret markers are fine. It's the 24th fret dots that are non-standard. Maybe that's giving you the illusion that the 12th fret dots might appear wider...The 2nd Amendment: America's Original Homeland Defense.Comment

No, they are definitely spaced out wider than the norm for a USA Jackson. It's not huge but when you've been so used to looking at literally thousands of these things for 20+ years, it's pretty obvious.Comment
