Picked this up . Sending to Lee at GMW for a full restoration. Closest I'll come to Robins.Will have neck painted and a tone control added. New chrome floyd. JB/ 59 pickup combo. What am I missing. Yes it is a bolt on. Can't have everything. Wish it had dots. I'll live with the sharks. Headstock has some esthetic damage
Whoa. Although, I would just have it cleaned up and fix the headstock. Too rare to mod, IMO. But congrats on a ridiculous find!!
It's so banged up that having Lee restore it is probably better for the value. He's pretty much the only one that could restore it and not have it affect the value negatively, IMO.

Narrow two PU routs to standard PU*width *
Fill existing Schaller Floyd rout
Cap top of body*with maple veneer*
Replace body binding with Jackson ivoroid binding.
Refinish body in black and tape and detail new body binding ***
Repair tip of headstock
Install new headstock binding
Paint headstock black *and*replace Jackson factory logo
Paint neck black
Mill and dress frets
New chrome Floyd Rose and R3*clamp
Duncan '59n and JB (TB-4) PU's without logos Two Gibson black PU rings
Jackson rear spring cavity plate
Two 500K CTS pots (volume and tone), new black 3-way PU selector switch, two*black dome knobs
Reassemble and set up guitar
G & G form fitted case
