  • KV2T Discontinued?

I was just browsing thru the Jackson site and there is no mention ANYWHERE for a KV2T model. I don't remember seeing anything about it being discontinued....anybody know anything?
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

I actually thought it was discontinued a couple years ago.

Looks like you may be right Joe. It's not even listed on the Custom shop form anymore. Guess my BCB KV2T is likely one of one or one of two ever built....not that I'd ever sell my holy grail guitar. It's nice to be able to say "Neener Neener, I got one and you can't have one" because I have NEVER seen another like mine online or in person. Fairly cool.

That's really cool, Jim! BCB is a great color.

I've always loved it, just says classy. I think it looks great over mahogany as it's a darker wood than maple.

Love that KV. GC by me has 2 KV2T's that are dead mint that obviously the same person traded in. I've been eyeballing them.

All I can say Tetsuo is that the standard KV2T (the 24 3/4 scale ones) are unique among all the Jackson's I ever had. Other than the fact that it's deadly pointy, with the weight and scale it feels similar in stance and balance to a Les Paul, but has way more growl and the neck profile is the closest to my 1st Soloist. I like my KV2, but the KV2T is way more my speed.

I've been eyeing them up on the web. They have them marked as Gun Metal Grey on the web, but look like straight black in the photo. Are they GMG Tetsuo?
