No hang tag with the guitar? It would say SL2H-MAH as the model, if there. Otherwise, you could always scrape a small bit of finished off in the trem cavity, where no one will notice.

17046 should be mid- 2006.
My list is messy in one spot, but it appears I have 1705x marked as June 2006.

I'm certain it's an '06, though.
Jonnyryche may come along...he may be able to confirm the month.

I have a few other soloists in my log that are very close to that serial number. I'd agree with Mudlark on the June 2006 date.

thought I already posted this but maybe I didn't hit the post button
the serial # is 17040 not 17046 , The zero and a bit of a tail on it and it made it look like a 6 .

I'm putting this guitar up for sale cause I just can't bond with the 25.5 scale .
