Great looking specs and def one of a kind. It's remarkable how often Jackson is saying "ok" on spec requests the last year or so. I seem to recall Xeno having something (or everything) to do with that, so I'm glad you're able to enjoy some of the fruits of that labor.
I need to take a guitar count because I do need to let a few go, I'll think about it.

Yeah, my letter to legal did ease up ordering restrictions.

Yeah, all 3 of my CS orders with them have had issues.

Looks awesome Mike! I have two rev stratheads with 'parallel to strings' logos so it's definitely viable, but the logo size might have to change..

Amazing! So many "not so often seen" options in one guitar. Sorry they missed a few things on the build but damn...incredible guitar.
No honey, I have always had this Jackson....

            Fucking gorgeous!.

I love neckthru stratheads. Hard to find on anything other than an actual Fender.

What are those doohickeys on the sustain block where the springs are installed?

Screws to keep the springs from popping off.

I see. Must be a "Gotoh" thing. I don't need no stinkin' sustain block screws.

Ibanez had a "lock block" over their springs a long time ago. I had an old 7-string with one. It was pretty neat.

Thanks everyone! I think I did pretty OK with getting the specs I wanted though.

Yeah, they only did set neck Stagemasters.

And I still remember Kevin Easton and Kotzen? both pretty much laughing and saying that a neck-thru strathead would never, ever happen.

Thanks! After all these many years of being told no way, it's never gonna happen, I still can't believe I actually got one made. lol

Thanks man! I approved the WO with a blank fretboard. The outline sharkies in abalone was added about a month later. At least a half dozen times I considered asking to change it back. LOL Now that I can see it, I love the way it came out!

I mean, I've seen them on other guitars and was kinda meh about them, but I think it really fits this guitar well.

I'm hoping the fretboard darkens up after I give it a good oiling. They're usually dry from the factory, so we'll see.

For some reason the CS didn't want to do it without binding, so I got it with the binding over the fret ends. I originally spec'd it out with 80's file rolled fretboard edges after installation of frets... maybe they just saw that as too much work or something.
