Stunning, and simply perfect! I am happy for you that Jackson stepped up, made things the way they were supposed to be, and made it awesome! Enjoy"I have so much gayness at times. My wife walks in my music room, and there I am, in my undies, listening to "Sister Christian" while lighting fireworks..doin' blow." - Bill Z
"I leave off the back plate and pinch my forskin between the tension springs. That may not work for everyone. But I find that the people love it. Half the tone is in the pud." - Bill Z

Thanks guys! Yeah, it's really been an ordeal getting it done and sending me the neck blank logo'd and signed was just awesome. I had wanted to get the blank before but Kurt didn't want to let go of it and gave me every excuse not to give it to me... but I guess in the end he actually found the best use for it and that was really wonderful.
The logo is on straight where I wanted it and to me it looks so much better. Worth the wait, but I dunno if I'd do that wait again. lolThe 2nd Amendment: America's Original Homeland Defense.

It's gotta be one of the more special guitars they've made in several years..? Congrats on finally getting it the way it was meant Mike!

It's a bit bittersweet because they messed up a couple of things, it took 39 months to get and it's still not here. Fender contacted... we'll see what happens.
Specs: Mahogany 80's spec Dinky body with non-recessed Gotoh Floyd Rose, EMG 85 and 1 volume, 22 fret ebony fretboard with outline inlays and binding over fret ends, reverse Strathead maple and ebony 5 piece neck with outline inlays. No trem cavity cover, SD route and battery holder.
What they messed up? The maple was supposed to be birdseye (upcharge), the logo was supposed to be parallel to the strings, and it wasn't supposed to get Made in USA or the CS logo.
But, it is what it is.
I need to thank Matt at Matt's Music for facilitating the deal, Robert @ Fender for working with me and Fender Legal for approving an open order to get whatever I want.

Enjoy!
Oh, I forgot to mention one of the best features... Football jack plate with recessed input jack!
simply badass build!

Awesome!!
Gives me hope about ordering one soon, and actually getting close (enough) to a truly custom spec guitar....
What kind and size of frets did you get, and why Gotoh vs Orig Floyd?
So your design ideas and approval of them - everything went back and forth through Matts?
Thanks
