It really depends on the guitar, some Soloists sound great with the JB, others are horrible. Some Jackson guitars are just tone dogs. They play and feel great, but the tones are left to be desired. Luck of the draw.

wcr iron man and air Norton installed.
Weirdly - it feels faster to play now..
I know it's all subjective and we've all got our own sonic preferences...but jeez...wcr make great pickups. The guitar is just more alive!
For the price the air Norton is a really nice, clear well defined neck pickup too. I toyed with an evolution for the neck - but im glad I chose the Norton.Comment

I found I like JBs w a 250/300 pot not a 500 seems to take some of the shrill out.Comment
