Gary has never had this guitar (to my knowledge) he was with him when he had it made, this is a one off made for Brad. And I think you've mistaken Brad for Scholz, Brad never replaced anyone. He and Barry remained friends and recording partners until Brad departed.

I guess my supposition was that the Jackson Logs show J0036 and J0037 (from memory) both being made for Gary Pihl, and didn't Gary replace Barry Goudreau when Barry founded Orion the Hunter? Maybe Gary ordered it for Brad...just a half-assed guess....

I misunderstood you, I thought you meant 'he' being Brad replaced Gary meaning he fired him it was Tom that disassembled Boston.
