I just don't get where they're going with the pickguard. I mean, corporate legal is worried about roundhorns being "too Gibson", so they make them more Gibson-like with a PG? Or maybe they're trying to tie it into the Scott Ian KV? Weird and, IMHO, somewhat un-Jackson-like.

From that picture, it misses every mark for me. I just don't get it, or who would want it. I wonder if they're trying to metal out a Gibson with a pointy head, or traditionalize a Jackson? Not for me at all. Talk about losing ones identity.
